VBS.Funny Worm

A new epidemic of this worm has first been reported on September 16th, 2000. Several new variants were identified so far. The worms are spreading by means of e-mail with varying subject fields (e.g.: "Funny story", "When did you die ?", etc.). NOD32 users are protected because all current variants of the worm are detected by means of unique heuristics technology analyses implemented in NOD32. As with other types of infiltrations, such as the famous Melissa worm, NOD32 proves to be an excellent preventive tool, detecting infiltrations that have not been analyzed and/or discovered yet.
